About a month ago, I gathered my talented friends to work on a fashion editorial for spring that included beautiful hues of pink, mint, lavender, and buttercream. While I am in the process of sending the images for submission to various magazines and not able to post the final shots, I wanted to share the amazing and fun behind the scenes action that the talented Adam Carroll from Aria Creative captured for us! Feel free to glance over the robot dance that I do partway through....
Model: Janna Dilts of Panache Portfolio
Beautiful hair: Les Kiesman
Fabulous Makeup: Karen Hon of Shishay Studio
Here are some behind the scenes stills that Adam grabbed for us as well!

Good day! While most of us in central Canada are hunkering down near our heaters and fireplaces, I have been desperately dreaming of summer and spring. Therefore, I have thrown together a texture pack which contains some of my favorite spring/summer influenced textures for you to use in your own photos! Enjoy!! Share this link if you know other people who would enjoy these!! Simply click on the texture pack image below to access your overlays! I'd also love to see what you do with these! :D Share your work with me on my facebook pages: Keyhole Photography & Design or Teri Hofford Photography.
(I used the bottom left texture overlay to add to this image!)

Many of you have seen Jen grace my pages before, first as a participant in my workshop, then as a second shooter for me at weddings, and lastly as a beautiful mommy to be in her maternity session. So, when Jen gave birth to her little girl I offered to do a lifestyle session for her (as you know, I rarely shoot babies). The one thing I love most about my lifestyle sessions is the level of comfort that comes with them. I told Jen to treat it like any other Sunday morning. If the kids are in their pjs...awesome. If the house is slightly messy....great! If the kids want to play....even better. The more I can play with kids, the more comfortable they are and more likely to pose nicely when I do ask them to. These cuties were also very used to having a camera around. But who could blame their mom? These kids are super duper adorable! So, we made forts, read books, watched their new sibling, played dress up, danced around, played cards, and had a lot of fun!
This past weekend I headed to Swan River to spend time with my farm family and celebrate my cute little niece's second birthday! Omigoodness these kids are so cute! I am a very lucky auntie to have so many adorable little people in my life. Aubree even got a camera from Grandma to use and I am excited to go for nature walk's with my little friend and take some pictures. Anyways, enjoy the cuteness factor of these images!

When my best friend got engaged I was super pumped and while I am going to be IN the wedding, I will not be photographing it, I still had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session! While we had chosen probably the busiest day at the Forks and the coolest evening for our session, the images still turned out beautifully and the hot chocolate we consumed later on tasted that much more delicious! We grabbed a few shots off the top of the parkade at the Forks and then booked it out of there as soon as possible to the St. Boniface Cathedral since it was close by, but not nearly as busy. The good thing about cold weather for couple's sessions is that they have to snuggle even closer to stay warm!! Anyhow, MY BEST FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED!!!! YAY!!!!

There is nothing that I love more than helping people feel better about themselves. My sister, Cori, is pregnant with her 3rd child and has been feeling less than perfect about herself so she called me up and asked if I would be able to do a studio shoot with her. Of course I jumped at the chance because more often than not I am trying my hardest to get her into the studio or in front of my camera. She had her hair cut by Les the Thursday before and then we got Karen to do the makeup and as per usual, she did an amazing job and Cori looked, but more importantly felt, incredible! Check out her session here:
